EXTRACT UNITS

Units to exhaust the unwanted air from the area.

AIRBOX

Cabinet fans

Cabinet type extract air fans are available with DIDW fans. These fans are selected and installed to remove unwanted air from any area like toilet blocks, generator rooms, basements, bakeries, production lines, hotel lobbies and warehouses.

Range:

1000 CFM to 6000 CFM

Applications: Toilet blocks, lift-wells, staircases, warehouses, generator rooms, bakeries, corridors etc.

Features:

a. Direct driven, 1 phase centrifugal fans

b. Compact sizes

Options:

a. Dust filters

b. Acoustically or thermo-acoustically lined casing

EXPEL

Plug fan exhaust units

'Expel' is the series of extract fans used primarily for areas containing high grease/oil or solvent concentration. These fans have motors installed in a separate chamber, out of the air stream, to protect them from heat as well as from accumulating unwanted particles. Due to this construction, these fans can handle and move air having temperatures up to 120 degree C.

Range:

2000 CFM to 10000 CFM

Applications: Commercial kitchens, welding areas, furnaces, ovens, grease producing areas etc.

Features:

a. Direct driven, 3 phase centrifugal fans

b. Compact sizes

c. Bifurcated construction

d. Maintenance door

Options:

a. Inlet air plenum

b. Acoustically or thermo-acoustically lined casing

c. Double skin casing in extruded Aluminum channel frame

EXPEL-B

Belt type exhaust units

For medium and high air flow requirements, Airef manufactures 'Expel-B' exhaust units in double skin construction, using belt driven DIDW centrifugal fans and 3 phase motors. Used primarily for hot air exhaust, the motors in these units are covered with sheet metal to reduce the hot or greasy air getting in touch with them.

Range:

1000 CFM to 50000 CFM

Applications: Commercial kitchens, welding areas, generator rooms, warehouses, basements, factories, parking lots, toilets, hotel corridors, smoke producing areas etc.

Features:

a. Belt driven, 3 phase centrifugal fans

b. Compact sizes

c. Maintenance door

Options:

a. Acoustically lined casing

WETJET

Wet Scrubbers

Airef manufactures horizontal, wet type air scrubbing units called 'Wetjet', used mainly in the applications where the exhaust air stream needs to be treated and cleaned before expelling into the atmosphere. The air is passed through multiple spray-banks, and eventually through PVC mist eliminator, to expel clean, mist-free air. Belt driven DIDW centrifugal fans are used as a standard.

Range:

2000 CFM to 50000 CFM

Applications: Commercial kitchens, welding areas, generator rooms, factories, smoke producing areas etc.

Features:

a. Belt driven, 3 phase centrifugal fans

b. PVC mist eliminators

c. Maintenance door

d. Corrosion free PVC piping

e. Cleanable and replaceable spray nozzles

Options:

a. Acoustically lined fan section

b. Additional impingement plate for improved scrubbing

c. Aluminum filter section for improved grease entrapment

ESPURE

Electrostatic precipitators - Dry Scrubbers

Electrostatic precipitation is a highly efficient way of treating and cleaning the air that contains particulate matter. Airef manufactures ESP (Electrostatic precipitator) exhausts, commonly known as 'dry scrubbers', used primarily in applications involving the removal of dust and grease from the exhaust air stream. The direct driven SISW plug fan draws the air through ESP, while the encapsulated motor is out of the air stream. (Belt driven fans are used for medium and high airflow applications)

Range:

2000 CFM to 50000 CFM

Applications: Commercial kitchens, welding areas, generator rooms, factories, furnace exhausts, dust and smoke producing areas etc.

Features:

a. Suitable for high temperature applications

b. Easily cleanable ESP modules

c. ESP supplied with integrated power supply panel

e. Stainless metal mesh filters at ESP suction end

Options:

a. Acoustically lined fan section

b. Additional odor remover section
